Why this exists
Ask your favourite AI assistant to recommend a vendor in your category and it will give you three or four names. Almost no company has checked whether theirs is one of them. They watch their search rankings, they know their cost per lead to the decimal, and nobody has ever typed their own category into an assistant to see what comes back.
What makes that worth caring about is that the loss leaves no trace. A buyer asks for a shortlist, gets one, and you were never on it. There is no impression to count, no bounce rate, no line in your analytics. The deal is gone before you know it existed.
I came to this from finance. It is what I study and what I have always been drawn to, and it is why the companies I work with are in markets and trading infrastructure rather than somewhere easier to sell into. What redirected me was how quickly generative models got good. The world is repositioning itself around them faster than I expected, and most of that is happening quietly: no announcement, no migration, people simply stopped opening a search engine first.
I started UnaidedRecall to help companies understand where they stand in that. What I want is narrow enough to say plainly. When a buyer asks a machine who they should be talking to, I want the companies I work with to be named, and described accurately. Most of them have earned it. They are simply invisible to a system nobody told them had started doing the shortlisting.
How I work follows from that. Every number in a report comes from a prompt set that is written down, agreed with you before it runs, and re-run unchanged when we measure again. The full method is printed inside the audit rather than held back as a trade secret, because a measurement you cannot check is not worth paying for. And the person who runs your measurement is the person who answers your email, which is more than most of this market can say.
